Contributed by Parelli Professional Holly Scott. So often I hear other horse people or Parelli students say “I don’t have time to work with my horse as much as I should”. I am sure you yourself have said it once before – I have! Years ago I held myself to this impossibly high standard because I assumed that is what other great, talented horsemen and women did. I am certain many do, some probably more than others depending on how much drive they have to be the best at their craft. Me, I just...
Inside the Mind of the Head-Shy Horse By Pat Parelli Most of us have spent enough time around horses and horse owners to have come across the term “head-shy horse” a few times. We’ve heard the term, but what exactly does it mean? Well, a head-shy horse perceives that any movement or contact around his head is dangerous, and responds as such. ENHANCED SEARCH FUNCTION
We are happy to announce that the search function in the Savvy Club has been given a much-needed upgrade, but there are a few things you need to know to help you find what you’re looking for.
- Type in the topic you are looking for ie. trailer loading, point to point, etc.
- Your results will first be defined by categories and will default to “ALL”
- Typically the default “ALL” will produce less specific search results, but the key to more specific results will be found if you select “Topics”
- In addition to the search results, you’ll now also be able to see which Lesson & course the result is associated with.
